Youth of the Chuhuiv community joined the international visit to Brussels

At the end of March, a Ukrainian youth delegation visited Brussels to study the experience of international cooperation, establish business contacts, and strengthen the role of Ukrainian communities in the European space.

The Chuguiv community in Brussels was represented by Yevhen Bondarenko, Chairman of the Board of the NGO "YOUTH", teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at the Chuguiv Lyceum No. 1, Acting Chairman of the Youth Council under the Executive Committee of the Chuguiv City Council, and youth specialist at the CAMPUS Community Center.

The delegation included young people from the Fastiv community together with representatives of partner communities within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities" - Chuhuyiv (Kharkiv region), Berdyansk (Zaporizhzhya region) and Mykil (Donetsk region) communities. Such interaction is a vivid example of effective intermunicipal cooperation and unity for a common future.

During the visit, the Ukrainian delegation held a number of meetings with representatives of leading European institutions, during which issues of youth policy development, support for Ukrainian communities, and youth participation in the reconstruction processes of Ukraine were discussed. Representatives of our delegation got acquainted with the activities of key institutions of the European Union, the work of local self-government, discussed opportunities for cooperation, and communicated with local youth and the Ukrainian diaspora.

The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, noted that participation in such international events contributes to strengthening the voice of Ukrainian communities in the international arena, developing youth policy, and forming an active and conscious generation that builds the European future of Ukraine.
