The Chuhuiv City Council continues to implement new approaches to preserving the health of community residents and preventing diseases. An important step in this direction was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the State Institution "Kharkiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine", said the head of the Chuhuiv City Military Administration, Halyna Minaeva.
The document was signed with the participation of the heads of neighboring communities, which opens up new opportunities for intermunicipal interaction in the field of public health.
According to Lyubov Makhota, Director General of the Kharkiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in the current conditions, the issue of disease prevention has acquired special importance and has become practically vital. That is why the center's specialists count on the active support of communities in the implementation of joint initiatives.
Within the framework of the signed memorandum, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in conducting information, educational and preventive measures, establishing interaction with non-governmental and international organizations to attract additional resources, as well as in implementing modern public health monitoring systems.
It is expected that such interaction will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of responding to health care challenges and improving the quality of life of community residents.
