Chuguiv community will cooperate with the municipality of Trigiano (Italy)

The Chuguiv community is expanding international ties and starting cooperation with the Italian municipality of Trigiano. This was announced by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, following a working meeting with the mayor of Trigiano, Giuseppe Toscano. During the talks, which took place online on February 17, the parties discussed promising areas of future partnership.

Trigiano is a comune in southern Italy, located in the Apulia region within the Metropolitan City of Bari, near the administrative center of the region. The city combines a historic center of medieval origin with modern infrastructure and a developed service sector. The economy of the community is based on small businesses, services and the agri-food sector. The population is about 26 thousand inhabitants.

The focus of the talks was on joint participation in European Union programs to attract grant funding, digitalization of municipal services, implementation of energy-efficient solutions, and strengthening energy sustainability. Particular attention was paid to the development of cultural and educational exchanges, humanitarian cooperation, and participation of artists in international events.

Halyna Minaeva thanked Giuseppe Toscano for his solidarity with Ukraine and support for the Ukrainian people. The head of the Chuhuiv community also expressed gratitude to the Unita per l'Ucraina association and its secretary Yevhenia Vasilyeva for their assistance in establishing partnership contacts.

The development of cooperation with Trigiano will be another step towards strengthening the international ties of the Chuguiv community and will open up new opportunities for its sustainable recovery and development.
