On February 12, 2026, at the regular meeting of the Protection Commission, 10 issues of social and legal protection of children were considered, 7 of them based on applications from citizens.
The agenda of the Commission meeting includes issues related to determining the degree of parental participation in raising a child, the appropriateness of deprivation of parental rights, and granting status to children who have suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts.
The planned issue of the state of maintenance, upbringing, and development of children in foster families and family-type orphanages was considered, which was compiled on the basis of information provided by the Center for Social Services, educational institutions, Chuguiv RUP of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, family doctors, and the Department of Social Protection of the Population in 2025. During 2025, 5 foster families and 2 family-type orphanages operated on the territory of the Chuguiv urban territorial community, in which 23 children were raised.
The functioning of foster families and family-type orphanages of the Chuguiv urban territorial community has been recognized as meeting the interests of children.
The Children's Service of the Executive Committee of the Chuguiv City Council announces that the next meeting of the commission will be held March 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Applications and documents for consideration by the commission are accepted until March 04, 2026 at the address: 19 Gvardiyska St. (Children's Service).
