Despite the difficult times that Ukrainians are currently living through, sports life in the Chuguiv community continues. Its landmark event was today's friendly tournament of the city's Aikido Club in the Duo combat system discipline.
The guests of honor at the competition were the head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, and the head of the Department for Youth and Sports of the KHOVA, a famous Kharkiv athlete, Master of Sports of international class in judo, multiple World Champion in judo and sambo, Konstantin Ananchenko.
Addressing the young athletes, the guests wished them bright victories and assured that the leaders of the Chuguiv community, with the support of the regional authorities, will continue to do everything in their power to develop children's and youth sports.
As for the competitions themselves, they fully met all expectations: the matches were fierce and spectacular.
Athletes competed in two age categories: 8-12 and 13-18 years old, demonstrating remarkable skill and thirst for victory.
