Last week, a group of children from the Chuhuiv community visited the Frankivsk region, namely the historical place - Ancient Halych. These days were full of warmth, sincerity, fun and true Ukrainian spirit! The hospitality of the hosts, their warm welcome left an unforgettable mark in the hearts of the guests!
The children visited the museum of the history of ancient Halych, the church of St. Panteleimon, bowed their heads in prayer before the Galician Miraculous Icon in the pro-cathedral patriarchal cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos, visited the Prince's Well, and visited the church in the village of Komariv.
The leisure time was rich: master classes, concerts, vocal competitions, Cossack entertainment, dances... Positive emotions were raging the whole time!
And most importantly – the traditions of our people! The children felt the importance of carols, sang carols, and participated in nativity scenes. Who would have thought that children from the Chuhuiv community would sing carols near the central Christmas tree of Frankivsk?
We are extremely grateful to the head of the Galician City Council, the head of the education department, and the directors of the Komariv and Krylosky lyceums! With gifts and souvenirs and charged with positivity, everyone returned home. The importance of such trips lies in uniting Ukrainian youth, in spiritual enrichment, and cultural exchange between different parts of our country.
