The girl Katrusya became the first child born in the Chuguiv community in the new year 2026. The baby was born on January 5. Her weight is 3,100 g, and her height is 50 cm. The birth was taken by doctors of the obstetrics department of the Chuguiv Central Hospital.
The girl was born into the family of Hanna and Petro Shyshkov and became the third child in the family. The girl's father is a serviceman of the 92nd OSH Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko and is currently defending Ukraine from the Russian aggressor.
On January 7, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, visited the hospital. On behalf of the entire community, she congratulated the mother of the newborn girl on this important event and wished that little Katrusya and her older brother Timur and sister Kira would grow up healthy and happy under the peaceful sky of Ukraine, bringing joy to their family and friends.
The birth of children during the war is another confirmation that life triumphs under any circumstances. This is our faith in peace, in a bright and happy future for the Chuhuiv community and all of Ukraine.
