
Juror requirements
A citizen of Ukraine who has reached the age of thirty and permanently resides in the territory covered by the jurisdiction of the Chuguiv City Court may be a juror.
The following citizens are not included in the jury lists:
1) recognized by a court as having limited legal capacity or incompetence;
2) who have chronic mental or other illnesses that prevent them from performing their duties as a juror;
3) who have an unexpired or unspent criminal record;
4) People's Deputies of Ukraine, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, judges, prosecutors, employees of law enforcement agencies (law enforcement agencies), military personnel, employees of court staff, other civil servants, officials of local self-government bodies, lawyers, notaries, members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the High Council of Justice;
5) persons who have been subject to administrative penalties for committing a corruption offense within the last year;
6) citizens who have reached the age of sixty-five;
7) persons who do not speak the state language.
If you permanently reside in the territory covered by the jurisdiction of the Chuguiv City Court and wish to serve as a juror, please submit the following documents by January 20, 2026 to the Chuguiv City Council at: 35-A Staronikolska St., room 24:
- application for inclusion in the jury list;
- photocopies of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (pages 1-4 and the page with information about the last place of residence), or a photocopy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card and a certificate of registration of the place of residence or place of stay;
- a document confirming the absence of a criminal record;
- autobiography.
