The national program Health Screening 40+, aimed at early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health problems for Ukrainians 40+, went into effect on the first day of 2026. And at the end of this month, Ukrainians over the age of 40 will begin to receive the first notifications-invitations to undergo screening.
How it works
- An invitation to the screening will be sent to the Diya app on the 30th day after your birthday — for people aged 40 and over.
- After confirming participation in the program, 2,000 hryvnias will be credited to the Diya.Kartka within seven days. The funds can be used exclusively to pay for the screening.
- For those who do not use the Diya application, there is an option to apply for a bank card and submit an application through the ASC. This can be done 30 days after your birthday.
The National 40+ Health Screening includes:
- questionnaire and assessment of individual risks (including cardiovascular disease, risk of type 2 diabetes, and mental health status);
- physical examination (blood pressure measurement, assessment of heart rate and rhythm, anthropometry);
- laboratory tests showing the functioning of the heart, blood vessels and kidneys;
- individual recommendations from a doctor regarding lifestyle and health status, and if necessary, prescription of medication or referral for further examinations or treatment.
