On the last day of 2025, the Chuguiv community said goodbye to a young Hero – 25-year-old soldier Andriy Kireyev.
The soldier's life ended on December 20, 2025 - Andriy died while performing a combat mission near the village of Bilogirya, Polohivskyi district, Zaporizhia region.
Andriy Kireev was recruited for military service under contract by the 4th Recruiting Center of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and served as a rifleman in one of the military units.
Everyone who knew Andriy finds this loss hard to believe. The entire Chuguiv community mourns with the family, bowing their heads low in grief.
The farewell ceremony for the Hero took place with military honors. Andrey Kireev was buried on December 31 in Chuguev on the Alley of Memory.
