The day care department of the Territorial Center for Social Services (provision of social services) of the Chuguiv City Council provides physical adaptation and rehabilitation measures. The proposed complex of loads includes various physical exercises, work on simulators, and classes in the "Health" group.
Activities are selected by a knowledgeable specialist with extensive work experience who carefully examines the ability to exercise, health status, capabilities, and needs of service recipients.
Given the requirements for improving the quality of activities, physical rehabilitation specialist Nina Zakharenko participated in the five-day training "Quality Service in Neurorehabilitation". The training is intended for specialists working in the field of rehabilitation: physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, social workers, and members of multi-team groups.
The training was organized by the Municipal Institution "Veteran Space "Side by Side" of the Kharkiv Regional Council, with the participation of the international charitable organization Action Aid. The training was conducted by a professional trainer, chief physical therapist of the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center, Maksym Vinogradov.
Five days were spent in intensive theoretical and practical work. The format of the classes, practical exercises and careful analysis of clinical cases with real victims provided the participants with maximum knowledge. It was a truly meaningful educational process leading to the construction of a high-quality rehabilitation service.
