The Chuguiv District Police reminds citizens: the sale, purchase, storage, and use of pyrotechnics during martial law are prohibited.

Fireworks and firecrackers can be confused with the sounds of explosions, provoke panic, create additional danger to people and often cause injuries and fires. They are especially dangerous for children - any explosive product can cause serious injuries.

As a reminder, only class F1 products (sparklers, fountains, firecrackers, and candle fireworks) remain permitted. Their sale and transfer to children are prohibited.

Violations are subject to administrative and criminal liability. Minors from the age of 16 are liable on general grounds, and for hooliganism - from the age of 14. Any pyrotechnics found are subject to seizure.

Police urge community residents to refrain from using fireworks during the holidays and to take care of the safety of their loved ones. If you discover any facts of selling or launching pyrotechnic products, call 102.

The safety of the community depends on each of us.
