The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, continue the information campaign "Burn the FSB Officer", aimed at countering the recruitment of Ukrainian citizens by Russian special services. Particular attention is paid to young people, who are becoming the main target for the enemy on social networks.

As part of this initiative, a social video was created with the participation of the famous director Lyubomyr Levytsky. Its purpose is to remind about the inevitability of punishment for crimes classified as terrorism or sabotage. These include, in particular, arson of property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, state institutions, or mining of objects. It is important that even minors can bear criminal responsibility for such actions.
In 2024, the SBU and the National Police have already detained over 450 people who were carrying out tasks received from Russian handlers. All of them were hoping for "easy money", but received suspicion and the real prospect of imprisonment.
«"If you or someone you know receives an offer to commit such a crime for money, immediately report it to the SBU via chatbot or 0 800 501 482 and provide information about the contact who tried to recruit you,» the SBU statement says.
