As already reported, the Chuhuiv community is participating in the implementation of a project to create local and voluntary fire departments in the Kharkiv region, which involves organizing voluntary fire brigades in the most remote settlements.
On the territory of the Chuhuiv community, such a team was created in the village of Velyka Babka with the assistance of the Chuhuiv City Military Administration, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, and the head of the agricultural company "Zorya" Leonid Lysachenko.
Currently, the necessary premises have been equipped, where the fire truck is located, which was provided by the regional department of the State Emergency Service.
On April 22, 2025, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, met with representatives of the Kharkiv regional and Chuguiv district departments of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. The issues of further equipping the fire brigade with all the necessary equipment were discussed.
The Head of the Department for the Prevention of Emergency Situations of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Colonel of the Civil Protection Service Serhiy Kolosovsky, thanked Halyna Minaeva for the active participation of the Chuhuiv community in the project to create voluntary fire brigade units and noted that the rescuers will provide all necessary methodological and technical assistance to the newly created fire brigade.
The volunteer fire brigade in Velyka Babka will provide an operational and quick response to the elimination of fires and other emergencies that may arise in the rural settlements of the community, which will help preserve property and, above all, human lives.
