
Citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60 who are recognized as limitedly fit for military service are required to undergo a repeated medical examination by June 5, 2025.
Citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60, recognized as limitedly fit for service, are required to independently obtain a referral to the VLK by contacting the district CCC and SP, or receive a referral through the electronic account of conscripts, conscripts and reservists (Reserv+).
Persons with disabilities do not need to undergo a medical examination.
The VLK adopts one of the following resolutions:
1. "Suitable":
- to military service;
- to serve in military support units, CCK and SP, VVNIZ, training centers, institutions (establishments), medical units, logistics, communications, operational support, and security units;
2. "Unsuitable":
- to military service;
- to military service with a review after 6-12 months (the decision is made during martial law);
3. "Will require":
- release from duty for a certain number of calendar days;
- sick leave for treatment due to illness for a certain number of calendar days;
- leave for treatment after injury (concussion, trauma or mutilation) for a certain number of calendar days;
- treatment in a healthcare facility (institution) for a period of at least a certain number of calendar days;
4. "Temporarily Unsuitable":
- before the meeting (the decision is made regarding those liable for military service and reservists who are called up for the meeting);
- to military service (indicate the date of re-examination).
5. Does not require long-term treatment (the decision is made in cases where there is no need to continue long-term treatment);
Failure to comply or untimely compliance with the new norm will be qualified as an administrative offense, provided for in Article 2101 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
