
Born on 09.03.1983 in the village of Chervone, Sumy district, Sumy region. Later, together with his parents, he moved to the city of Kupyansk, where he graduated from high school. After graduating from school, he worked at the Kupyansk sugar factory since 1998, and since 2003 he has worked in the security services market in Ukraine at the Yavir company. With the beginning of a full-scale war, he moved (evacuated) to the city of Chuguiv with his mother, common-law wife and her son and lived in the city until October 2023. While living in the city, from May 2022 to October 2023, he worked as a handyman at the Chuguiv oil depot.



In October 2023, he expressed his desire to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Having voluntarily applied to the Chuguiv RTCC and SP, he was sent to the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa (military unit A0693). He served as a service number of the motorized infantry division of the motorized infantry battalion.


Serhiy Mykolayovych is survived by his mother, Sayenko Lyubov Oleksandrivna, who lives outside the city of Chuguiv; his common-law wife, Mykhailiuk Nadiya Volodymyrivna, who lives in the city of Kharkiv; and his son, Sayenko Mykola Serhiyovych, born in 2006, who lives in the city of Kharkiv.
Circumstances of death:
In December 2023, the unit in which Serhiy Mykolayovych defended Ukraine was performing a combat mission in the Bakhmut direction. During a combat operation on December 16, 2023, near the settlement of Rozdolivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, he accidentally died. The causes of death have not been definitively established.
On December 28, 2023, Serhiy was buried in the city of Chuguev at cemetery No. 5.
