In the territory of Chuguiv district, work is underway to create and develop local fire protection and voluntary fire protection. Voluntary fire protection is a component of a unified state civil protection system. These are modern "heroes among their own people". Therefore, in the current conditions, the formation of such units in remote rural settlements is important and necessary.
On March 11, in the village of Velyka Babka, Chuhuivsk urban territorial community, a working meeting of the leadership of the Chuhuivsk district administration of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region with the leadership of the city military administration and the head of the Agrofirma "Zorya" LLC was held, regarding the opening of a new voluntary fire department. During the meeting, issues of ensuring safety in the community by creating a voluntary fire department, arranging a room where fire equipment is located, and ways to resolve problematic issues regarding the opening were discussed.
Voluntary fire protection will ensure an operational and quick response to the elimination of fires and other emergencies that may arise in the community, and this, without exaggeration, means not only saved property, but also saved human lives.
