The Kharkiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support reminded about the obligations of citizens of Ukraine during martial law.

Men aged 18 to 60 need to:

  • be registered with the district military registration and enlistment office at the place of stay or residence;
  • to personally clarify their military registration data at the CCC and the SP, which will be entered into the Unified State Register of Military Conscripts and Conscripts;
  • During the period of martial law, always carry with you your identity documents, as well as military registration documents;
  • provide these documents for inspection to authorized persons, in particular, military personnel of the CCC and the SP;
  • appear at the CCC and the SP upon call.

The following are recognized as valid reasons for non-arrival:

  • natural obstacle,
  • disease,
  • military actions and their consequences,
  • other circumstances that prevented the possibility of arriving at the specified point and time;
  • death of a close relative (parents, wife (husband), child, sibling, grandfather, grandmother) or a close relative of the wife (husband).

Otherwise, they will face a resolution from the CCC on a fine of 17 to 25.5 thousand hryvnias.

On May 4, the Law of Ukraine No. 3621-IX came into force, which abolished the status of "limited suitability".

In order to determine fitness for military service, citizens who were recognized as limitedly fit before May 4, 2024, must undergo a repeated medical examination within 9 months, that is, until February 4, 2025.

For those liable for military service, referrals to the VLK are provided by the CCK and the SP.

After passing the VLK, the conscript will receive one of the conclusions - fit or unfit for military service.

The degree of fitness for military service is established by the Military Medical Service in accordance with the Schedule of Diseases.

Thus, with moderate functional impairments due to one or another illness, conscripts are recognized as fit for service in military support units, TCK and SP, VZVO, training centers, institutions (establishments), medical units, logistics, communications, operational support, and security units.

The received status will automatically appear in the Reserve+ application.
