The Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, held a working meeting with representatives of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. UNHCR is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless persons.
– During the meeting, we discussed a number of issues in which this authoritative structure could provide assistance to the Chuguiv community. In particular, we discussed assistance in equipping mass shelters for displaced persons, of which we currently have two, providing our municipal enterprises with materials to eliminate the consequences of Russian shelling, as well as possible assistance in strengthening the infrastructure for a successful winter period, – reported by Galina Minaeva. – I am very grateful to our friends from UNHCR for the detail with which they delve into the problems currently facing Ukrainian communities.
