It is no coincidence that today's holiday is dedicated not only to the defenders but also to the defenders of Ukraine. After all, 48 thousand women are currently defending Ukraine from Russian invaders in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and about 20 thousand more in the structures of the Ministry of Defense. Ukrainian women have long proven that they are the weaker sex only in peacetime, and when the enemy sets foot on their native land, they turn into real warriors who are able to inspire their male counterparts with their courage and determination.
Chuguyiv high school students met with such women today during a communication lesson dedicated to Defenders' Day. Medics, drone pilots, military journalists - different biographies, different life experiences, different military specialties, but what unites these young, fragile girls is their love for their Motherland.
Actually, there was more casual communication during this festive lesson than there was a lesson as such. What motivates you in war, why you joined the army, how you distract yourself from the difficulties of service, whether it is difficult to be a woman in a male team - the girls answered these and other questions from the schoolchildren so sincerely and emotionally that many participants had tears in their eyes during the meeting.
And at the end of the lesson was the most exciting part: our defenders interestingly told and clearly demonstrated what they were doing at the front.
The head of the Chuguiv MVA, Galina Minaeva, wholeheartedly wished them and hundreds of thousands of their brothers and sisters a victorious return to peaceful life as soon as possible on this festive day.
