From August 2024 to May 2025, local governments, the Urban Reform team of architects and urban planners, and local residents will work to create ideas for the development of the Chuhuiv community.
The project will establish a connection between local government and the public in the community. The Urban Reform team will also help organize community residents' ideas for its development, which will then be implemented into strategies, comprehensive plans, and programs for recovery and development.
The project is being implemented by the public organization Urban Reform - experts in spatial and architectural solutions. For six months, they will research the Chuhuiv community, hold events and surveys for residents, and help establish connections between the administration and local residents. Urban Reform has more than 10 years of experience in this area and has already implemented a similar project with the city of Okhtyrka in Sumy region. More details: https://okhtyrka.in/
The project team has already managed to visit the Chuguiv community, meet with local authorities, and sign a memorandum of cooperation. The researchers also met with local residents and presented the project to them on August 22. During the meeting, they identified the community's strengths, learned about the points that residents try to avoid, and where they want to see changes.

In total, five Ukrainian communities participate in the "Shared Future" project: Chuhuyivska and Zmiivska in the Kharkiv region, Pereshchepynska and Verkhniodniprovska in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and Korostenska in the Zhytomyr community.
