On September 3, 2024, Kochetka resident Vira Fomivna Chepenko celebrated her 95th birthday. Deputy Mayor - Executive Committee Manager Lyudmila Makarenko visited the elderly birthday girl to congratulate Vira Fomivna on behalf of the entire Chuguiv community.
«In life, as in a long field,» says a wise Ukrainian proverb. And indeed, different things happen in a person’s life. There were many happy events on the life path of Vera Fomivna Chepenko, but this woman also had to endure a lot of grief. She is a participant in World War II – she, a very young girl, was taken to Germany for forced labor. After returning home, the woman worked hard all her life, devoting almost thirty years to work as a machinist-electrician at the KP «PTP «Voda». The greatest joy and pride for Vera Fomivna have always been her children – two daughters, who gave her five grandchildren, and now delight her with six great-grandchildren.
Vira Fomivna celebrated her 95th birthday surrounded by family and friends.
