Dear residents of the Chuguiv community!
On February 24, 2022, our lives were divided into "before" and "after.".
That morning, each of us woke up to sounds that could not be confused with anything else.
For the Chuguiv community, these were days of special testing. We saw fear in the eyes of children, despair in the hearts of parents, pain from loss and destruction. We said goodbye to those we loved. We saw off our defenders, understanding that they were going to defend not only the territory, but also our right to live freely.
We all know the price of our resilience. And at the same time, we feel the incredible strength of our people. Volunteers who have been a support for the military and civilians from the first days. Doctors who saved lives under shelling. Utilities workers who restored light and heat where there was destruction yesterday. Educators who kept in touch with children even in the most difficult moments.
Today, remembering those events, we bow our heads to the memory of the dead. We thank every soldier who defends our land. And we are sure: the Chuhuyiv community will live, work and develop.
We stood firm when it seemed that there was no more strength. We are holding on today and will definitely stand firm! So let the long-awaited peace return to our land as soon as possible!
