Dear community residents!
Today, November 21, we celebrate the Day of Dignity and Freedom - a day that reminds us of the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people, our devotion to the ideals of freedom, democracy, and justice.
On this day in 2004 and 2013, concerned citizens took to the capital's Independence Square. In November 2004, to defend their right to fair elections. Nine years later, to defend their dignity and Ukraine's European future.
On November 21, 2024, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Orange Revolution - the first Maidan in the history of independent Ukraine, which significantly influenced the formation of the national consciousness of Ukrainian citizens, the democratization of society, and thanks to which the experience of successful struggle and victory, crucial for the further formation of the Ukrainian nation, was acquired.
The Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity contributed to preserving Ukraine's independence and formed a Ukrainian nation capable of defending statehood with arms in hand today.
Today, the Ukrainian people are fighting fiercely against the Russian occupier for freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Together, we are fighting for the right to be free and independent on our land. We believe in our victory and are doing everything to ensure a decent future for future generations.
