Dear fellow countrymen!
Today we honor the memory of Taras Shevchenko, a great son of the Ukrainian people. His words inspired generations of freedom fighters, and his prophetic lines sound especially poignant and relevant today.
In these difficult times, when Ukraine is once again forced to fight for its independence, we feel the power of Shevchenko's spirit more than ever. His call for unity, indomitability, and the fight for truth is our guide on the path to victory.
Shevchenko believed in our nation, in our strength and dignity. He dreamed of the Ukraine that we defend today at the front, in the rear, in every corner of our land. And you and I have the honor to be those who carry out his will - build a free, strong and independent state.
May his word strengthen our spirit today, give us faith and strength to move towards our common goal - the victory and revival of Ukraine.
