On the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Halyna Minaeva, met with veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war and mothers of fallen heroes.
They talked about what the community can do for its defenders, who are currently defending the Motherland, after they return home.
– We understand how important it will be to integrate each veteran into the community, to support them, to help them find themselves in a future peaceful life, – notes Galina Minaeva. – In resolving these issues, the opinion of veterans should be decisive. In particular, we will take into account their needs when creating a future rehabilitation center and veterans hub.
Also during the meeting, they discussed problematic issues that concern veterans: registration of benefits in the Pension Fund, support for former military personnel from the National Employment Service in helping them start their own businesses and acquire new professions.
The participants of the meeting were presented with the opportunities of the partners of the Chuhuiv community - the Charitable Foundation "Peaceful Sky of Kharkiv" regarding the psychological and physical rehabilitation of veterans.
At the initiative of Halyna Minaeva, such meetings in our community will be regular so that local authorities can constantly keep abreast of the issues that concern defenders and their family members.
