Prison instead of money: what could be hidden behind the offer to earn extra money

The number of quick money offers is increasing on the Internet. In particular, this is how the enemy recruits people to commit crimes. Teenagers often succumb to such "temptation", not realizing the consequences of their actions.

Lawyers of the BPD system explain the dangers of such "earnings".

What is hidden behind "easy money"?«

Sending photos, videos, or geolocations of objects, arson of property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or government institutions, and other actions classified as sabotage or terrorist acts.

For example, in the Mykolaiv region, teenagers were used to set fire to military vehicles and important facilities. In Cherkasy, schoolchildren reported fake mining of administrative buildings on the instructions of Russian special services.

What are the consequences?

Criminal liability from the age of 14. In particular, for:

  • sabotage (e.g. sending geolocations of defense facilities, committing an explosion): imprisonment for 10-15 years
  • terrorist act (for example, setting fire to an administrative building): imprisonment for 5-10 years.

In addition, parents will have to pay for material damages caused by minors.
