At the end of last week, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, congratulated one of the military units on the anniversary of its creation and handed over to the defenders equipment that was purchased with the funds of city council employees, which they rent as a day's salary.
In her Telegram channel, Galina Minaeva wrote:
– A military unit recently celebrated its anniversary, the number of which means little to the residents of the Chuguiv community. However, sometimes, in the most alarming hours, each of us hears the combat work of these boys and girls. It is their heroism and skill that we thank every morning, waking up in our homes and rejoicing in a new day.
I had a wonderful opportunity to congratulate our guardian angels on their team's birthday and give them another, third, much-needed gift. The funds for it were collected by employees of the Chuguiv City Council as part of our monthly transfers of one-day wages in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
I sincerely thank my colleagues and all the volunteers of the Chuguiv community who help the heroes-defenders of Ukraine and, of course, first of all, our soldiers themselves. We, civilians, always remember that we live in our homes, work, and enjoy life precisely thanks to your daily feat.
