According to the investigation, on April 28, at around 09:10, the Russian armed forces carried out a strike with an unmanned aerial vehicle, previously of the «V2U» type, on the city of Chuguiv.
The UAV hit the ground near a residential area. Private homes and cars were damaged.
A 70-year-old man was killed in the attack. Another resident was injured and hospitalized in serious condition.
Under the procedural leadership of the Chuguiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
