Seven people were injured in the Russian missile attack on Chuguev, including a 3-year-old girl.

Under the procedural guidance of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on March 8, at around 00:05, the Russian armed forces launched a missile strike on the center of the city of Chuguev.

A nine-story apartment building, a bus station, a hotel, shops, and cars were damaged.

Seven civilians were injured: four men, a 41-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy, and a 3-year-old 8-month-old girl. The youngest victim had a cut on her leg, and was treated on the spot by medics.

According to preliminary data, the enemy struck the city with an S-300 missile from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.
