President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law on extending until March 1, 2025 the period for voluntary return to service of military personnel who voluntarily left their unit.
Every serviceman who wants to return to service must come to his unit. Alternatively, he can report to the territorial units of the State Bureau of Investigation or the Military Law Enforcement Service or the National Police. The Ministry of Defense also allowed him to apply to one of the 17 military units from the list approved by the General Staff or to one of the 14 reserve companies of the National Guard.
Upon arrival at the unit, the serviceman must submit a report on reinstatement. From this moment, a clear algorithm is launched that regulates all further stages of reinstatement - from paperwork to the resumption of payments.
You can also submit a report in the Army+ application.
Within 72 hours, the commander must reinstate the soldier to duty and notify law enforcement.
