On January 4, 2025, another registry that suffered from a large-scale external cyberattack, namely the DRACS, became operational. In particular, the ability to enter information about birth, marriage, divorce, name change, and death was restored. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
At the same time, all documents that citizens received in paper form during the period of temporary shutdown of the register are currently being entered by specialists into the electronic system. The Ministry of Justice emphasizes that all certificates remain valid, and their digital copies will soon appear in the register.
Data exchange with other government agencies is gradually being restored, and a number of online services available in the Action have already started working. In a few clicks, the following are already available:
- Extracts about the place of residence of children
- Updating data on children's place of residence
- Winter e-Support for children
- Social benefits – subsidies, assistance to families with children
Recall that earlier, the work of three main notary registers was resumed: the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney, the Inheritance Register, and the Unified Register of Special Forms of Notarial Documents.
A large team of specialists continues to work 24/7 to quickly restore the registries that were the target of a Russian hacker attack.
