The "Guide to Barrier-Free Events" tells you how to ensure that the event takes place with respect for all participants.

It can be downloaded as books or view in format section of the "Accessibility Guide"«.

«"The meaning of events is people. The success of any event depends on their comfort. People are different: some have physical differences, some are sensory sensitive, some have communication difficulties. Organizers must take all of this into account when preparing for the event to make it a success," said the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

As the First Lady emphasized, the ability to adapt allows you to protect yourself from sudden stressful situations. Potential triggers should be eliminated in advance. The light of a strobe can cause an epileptic seizure. Checking the microphone with short taps reminds someone of gunshots. If it is impossible to remove irritants, they should be warned about when announcing the event or selling tickets.

«"You don't have to be an event organizer to be interested in them and take them into account. We all attend events, we all need to understand that accessibility is a social norm. And only together can we shape it," noted Olena Zelenska.
