Buying Ukrainian-made products means stimulating your own economy, not someone else's. This is important both at the household level, when buying clothes or food in a store, and when preparing large purchases through tenders.
On average, up to 401% of the cost of Ukrainian-made products is returned to the country's budget in the form of salaries, taxes, and payments to the pension fund, and these taxes support the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine in times of war.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine has received and continues to receive significant and important support from partner states, thanks to which important institutional changes are possible, adaptation to wartime conditions is being made, and the foundations for victory and further post-war reconstruction of the country are being laid. At the same time, the own capacity of the state of Ukraine and its citizens, who do not rely only on the support of partners, but also independently, make a major contribution every day to strengthening the state through the creation of new enterprises, jobs, generating income within the country, and reviving the economic system, is incredibly important.
The "Made in Ukraine" campaign is designed to draw the attention of Ukrainians to Ukrainian manufacturers and encourage them to buy more Ukrainian-made products, as well as to open their own enterprises to strengthen the country's economy. That is, to "add value" in every way, helping the country survive.
By purchasing products from Ukrainian manufacturers, Ukrainians not only directly support the country's economy, but also directly pay salaries to people who work at enterprises, make it possible to support the army (after all, almost all taxes during the invasion are directed precisely to this) and the functioning of hospitals, public spaces (parks, etc.). This effect on the economy and society is so significant and tangible that we can safely say that by buying Ukrainian products, we literally add to our own.
On the economic effect of consuming Ukrainian-made products.
By purchasing Ukrainian goods, the consumer actually pays salaries to the employees of the manufacturing enterprise and taxes to the state budget, which go entirely to support the Security and Defense Forces.
It is important that citizens buy domestic goods, because in this case the money spent will remain in Ukraine and form GDP. First of all, this applies to goods with developed domestic production - food and light industry; production of building materials, household chemicals and cosmetics, etc.
Replacing imported goods with domestic products will have a significant economic effect. In recent years, Ukraine has actively developed various industries that are able to meet domestic demand, for example, for food products.
