On December 13, 2025, in the village of Kochetok, they said goodbye to the fallen hero Blinov Yuri Leonidovich (born December 15, 1982).
Yuriy was born and raised in the village of Bazalievka, Chuhuyiv district, in 2022 the enemy destroyed his house with his mother. Since 2022, the village of Kochetok has become a shelter and a new home for the Blinov family.
In 2024, Yuriy was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate assault battalion as a flamethrower. He defended the territorial integrity, independence, and freedom of the country in the Sumy region.
Yuriy Blinov was considered missing since February 2025. On December 13, 2025, Blinov Yuriy Leonidovich returned «on the shield.» Yuriy is survived by his elderly mother, who lives in the village of Kochetok.
