On May 3, 2025, at the initiative of football veterans of the village of Kamyana Yaruga, who almost 50 years later founded a village football team, an annual spring football tournament was launched for the "Memory Cup of Football Players of the Village of Kamyana Yaruga". Football fans gathered on a wonderful mini-football field with artificial turf, which in 1976 they did not even think about or dream about. They gathered to play football, remember the pleasant events of football life, discuss the development of football in the village, and most importantly - to remember those football players of the village who, unfortunately, are no longer there, but who left behind great memories and a significant legacy in the form of young talented players and football fans.
Those present honored with a minute of silence 20 players who for many years in a row glorified the village of Kamyana Yaruga and the Chuguyiv district with their football game.
A football match was held. The owners of the transitional "Cup in Memory of Football Players of the Village of Kamyana Yaruga" in 2025 became "Montanovtsi".
Also at the sporting event, football veterans from the village of Kamyana Yaruga, who dedicated their lives to the game of football, were honored with cash awards.
The sponsors of the event were Kravtsov Anatoly, Vasiliev Alexander, Lyzogubov Yevgeny, and Tikhonenko Oleg.
All those present received positive emotions from the sporting event and a charge of energy for several days, as well as wishes for good health, strength, energy, optimism, well-being in families, and the hope that football in the village will be recognized by the youth, who in the future will glorify the village of Kam'yana Yaruga and the Chuhuyiv community with their results.
