For the first time this year, Ukraine celebrated Children's Day on November 20, joining international practice that emphasizes the importance of respecting the rights of every child. In the context of war, this day took on a special meaning: it became not only a symbolic reminder of the need for protection, but also an opportunity to see the real results of daily, systematic work aimed at ensuring the safety, care and support of children.
In Chuguivsk urban territorial community, numerous thematic events were held on Children's Day. Creative master classes, sports activities, interactive games, meetings with psychologists and volunteers, as well as information sessions on children's rights were organized for children and adolescents. Separate events were aimed at supporting children from vulnerable categories.
Thanks to the joint efforts of teachers, social workers, volunteers, and local authorities, the holiday became an opportunity not only to give children joy and a sense of security, but also to emphasize the importance of protecting childhood even in the most difficult times.
