The Chuhuiv community continues to take care of residents who found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war. This primarily concerns people with disabilities, whom the community does not forget under any circumstances. This was stated by the head of the Chuhuiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva.
According to her, the community does not rely solely on state benefits and actively tries to provide support on its own - primarily thanks to the care of the employees of the Territorial Center.
On the eve of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Halyna Minaeva, together with the Deputy Mayor - Head of the Executive Committee, Lyudmila Makarenko, and representatives of Tercentr, visited the Podya family. Vitaliy Grigorovich and Lyubov Dorofievna are sincere and friendly people who, despite their advanced age and health problems, maintain optimism and a positive attitude.
During the meeting, the most pressing issues of concern to families with people with disabilities were discussed: from the unsuitability of housing to the long terms of replacing rehabilitation equipment. Although not all problems can be solved by local government due to financial and legal restrictions, Halyna Minaeva assures that the leadership of the city council and the city military administration will continue to do everything possible at their level, because every member of the community is important, and supporting such families will remain a priority.
