Despite the proximity of the front line and constant explosions, the Chuhuiv community continues to find opportunities to bring joy to children. Adults do everything they can to support the little ones and distract them from the daily experiences of war, at least for a moment.
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the community organized a special meeting for children from the families of fallen Heroes, servicemen, missing persons, and those in captivity. Some of these children have already experienced losses that not every adult can handle, so the main goal of the organizers was to give them at least an hour of warmth, light, and sincere emotions.
The event was joined by longtime friends of the Chuhuiv community — Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council Valeria Dzyuba and Deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council Oleksandr Kukhar. The guests gave the children gifts, and in return received the most valuable thing — sincere children's smiles.
Today we all hope that Saint Nicholas will bring children joy and, most importantly, long-awaited peace. Adults will continue to do everything possible to ensure that, despite the war, children's childhood remains happy.
