On August 11, 2024, a chess tournament was held in Chuguiv among sports veterans, dedicated to the 386th anniversary of the city's founding and the 81st anniversary of its liberation from Nazi invaders. The team of the Youth Council of the Chuguiv Community also joined the tournament.
During the tournament, all participants demonstrated endurance and perseverance in the competition.
Following a fierce competition, the tournament winners were:
1st place – Oleksandr Sviatosh;
2nd place – Yuriy Prykhodko;
3rd place – Oleksandr Beskorovainy;
4th place – Volodymyr Tomko.
