On December 6, the Chuguiv community created a small miracle for those who need warmth and care the most on St. Nicholas Day – for the children of fallen Heroes. This was reported by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva.
In a post on her Telegram channel, she emphasized that on this bright and magical day, every adult's thoughts are primarily about the little ones from whom the war took the most precious things - mothers and fathers. That is why a special holiday was organized for these children to give them a piece of joy and a sense of family comfort.
Creative workers from the Chuhuiv House of Children's and Youth Creativity created a truly fairy-tale atmosphere: they told children interesting stories about the Ukrainian traditions of this day and held a master class on painting sweet cakes - "Mykolaychiki".
The holiday was made possible thanks to the initiative of the servicemen of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade, which is currently heroically defending the Kharkiv region. It was they who gave the children this unforgettable day and personally came to Chuguev. According to Galina Minaeva, it was touching to observe with what tenderness and care the courageous soldiers communicated with the little ones.
In conclusion, Halyna Minaeva wished every Ukrainian defender that their children would soon wait for their father or mother to return from the front. «May Saint Nicholas hear this request and prayers of every Ukrainian family,» she added.
