Criminal police officers have exposed a 33-year-old local resident who was previously convicted of property crimes as the perpetrator of the crime. The amount of material damage is almost 5 thousand hryvnias.
On December 28, at around 8:30 a.m., the Chuguiv District Police Department received a report of a theft from an employee of a company that sells drinking water. According to the complainant, an unknown person damaged a water vending machine and took money from there.
Criminal police officers conducted a series of search operations and identified the suspect within a few hours.
Investigators of the Chuguiv District Police Department opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 8 years.
