Last week, the Central Library of Chuguiv hosted a presentation of the "War Diary" project, organized by the Corps for the Development of Ukrainian Culture of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists of the Odessa Polytechnic National University, together with the Municipal Institution "Public Library" of the Chuguiv City Council, with the support of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kostya Hordienko, the chieftain of the Kosh.
The goal of the project is to increase morale and fighting spirit, preserve the memory of those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war, draw attention to the patriotic education of youth, and enrich modern Ukrainian literature.
Most of the participants are active military personnel and veterans, including volunteers, police officers, medics, and conscious patriots of Ukraine.
The event featured the presentation of the first copies of the competition materials collection with illustrations. One of the competition winners was also awarded, and other laureates received their diplomas by mail.
The event was timed to coincide with the 500-day milestone of the heroic defense of the city of Vovchansk, held by soldiers of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kostya Hordienko, the chieftain of the Kosh.
