On the day when Ukraine marks the fourth anniversary of the start of the full-scale invasion and unites in a common prayer for peace and victory, emotional commemorative events were held at the Image Cultural Center. The day before, a memorial composition "Wall of Memory" was unveiled here, dedicated to the heroism of the defenders and residents of the Chuguiv community during the Russian aggression. It contains the names of those who gave the most precious thing - their lives, so that we could live and fight further.
On February 24, the Ukrainian national anthem, soulful musical compositions, and a joint prayer for Ukraine and its defenders were heard here. Those present recalled the events of the last four years and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of fallen soldiers and civilians whose lives were taken by the war.
It was symbolic to hold commemorative events right next to the "Wall of Remembrance." From now on, this is an open space for anyone who wants to bow their heads to the feat of their compatriots. It is a reminder that the price of our freedom is extremely high, and the memory of its defenders is eternal.
