Despite the challenges of war and the reduction in the financial capabilities of local budgets, the Chuguiv community continues to seek resources for the development of key areas of life. One of the priority areas remains social services, the need for which is rapidly growing in both quantity and quality.
As reported by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, for the effective development of this area, the community needs international experience and financial support. That is why a meeting was held with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), which has been a reliable partner of the Chuguiv community for many years.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development of preventive social services, as well as support and care at the local level. As a result, a number of key areas of cooperation were identified. In particular, these include the development of palliative care, natural help at home, mobile social services, social taxis, social adaptation, expanding the capabilities of family medicine, rehabilitation, mobile medical services, public health and many other important initiatives.
Halyna Minaeva thanked the UNDP team for their attention to the needs of the Chuhuiv community, their willingness to help, and their consistent support. There is no doubt that further cooperation will be fruitful and will contribute to improving the quality of life of residents, especially those who need help the most.
