Awards presented to relatives of fallen Heroes in Chuhuiv

State awards were presented to the wives of the fallen Heroes by the Deputy Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Igor Shepelev, and the Head of the Chuguiv District Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support, Colonel Oleksandr Kurchenkov.

Mykhailo Dyachenko Originally from Luhansk region – he was born on September 22, 1994 in the village of Brusivka, Bilovodsky district, Luhansk region. Since 2018, he has lived in Chuhuiv, working as a veterinary doctor.

With the beginning of the Russian aggression, he could not stand aside and joined the ranks of volunteers - he was mobilized by the Chuguiv RTCC and SP. He served in the airborne assault battalion of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade.

Mykhailo Dyachenko died on 02/20/2023 while performing a combat mission near Kreminna. As a result of a shot from an enemy tank, he was seriously wounded, but even despite this, he did not leave his position, kept firing and did not let the enemy break through the defense, held out and endured his last battle... Buried in the city of Chuguiv on the Alley of Glory.

By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 684/2023 of October 9, 2023, he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).

Currently, Hero's parents live in Luhansk Oblast, and his wife Nadiya lives in the city of Chuhuiv.

Ivan Baklanov Born on February 22, 1995 in the village of Kochetok.

In 2013, he was called up for military service at his own request. He served in the 302nd anti-aircraft missile Kharkiv Regiment. In 2016, he signed a contract with the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. During his service under the contract, he received the qualification of «3rd class sniper». Since January 2020, he has served in the 46th separate assault battalion «Donbas», participated in the Joint Forces Operation, and received the status of a participant in hostilities. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served as a sniper in the anti-aircraft artillery platoon of the fire support company of the Chuguiv separate territorial defense battalion.

Ivan Baklanov died August 16, 2022 in the Kharkiv region in the village of Mospanove while performing a combat mission, but only 9 months later his body was identified. On June 6, 2023, he was buried at the local cemetery in the village of Kochetok.

Awarded the badge "Blood for Ukraine", posthumously awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine" and the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously) in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 01.12.2023 No. 797.

Ivan Baklanov's entire family currently lives in the village of Kochetok: his parents, brother, wife Ruslana, and four-year-old son and daughter.

We remember everyone who laid down their lives fighting for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. Eternal glory and honor to the Heroes!
