On the eve of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, the opening of the thematic exhibition "Feel the Breath of Centuries..." dedicated to the architectural heritage of the city took place at the Image Cultural Center. The exhibition features works by artists who participated in the International Repin Plein Airs of different years.
The exhibition introduces visitors to the unique atmosphere of Chuguev, a city where history comes to life in every street and architectural detail. The presented works depict iconic landmarks that are not only part of the urban space, but also true witnesses of time, shaping the cultural identity of the community.
In their works, the artists conveyed the mood, character, and soul of the ancient buildings of Chuguev, revealing familiar places to the audience from a new, artistic perspective.
During the opening of the exhibition, the city's renowned art historian Alla Sazonova spoke about the history of the paintings, their artistic value, and the historical buildings depicted in the paintings.
