The first inspections revealed the unsatisfactory technical condition of public gas networks, unauthorized closure of gas pipelines by unauthorized structures, which makes it impossible to eliminate emergencies, and numerous gas leaks.
This condition of gas networks in apartment buildings is especially dangerous during martial law, when the enemy directs missiles and shells at residential areas in the region.
The maintenance carried out in Chuguiev allowed to detect and eliminate 64 gas leaks at the entrances of multi-storey buildings. In general, during maintenance, gas pipelines and gas equipment connections are checked for tightness, gas network tightness tests are carried out, the condition of the gas pipeline's paint and fasteners is checked, the presence of casings in the places of laying through the external and internal structures of the building, etc.
The frequency of maintenance depends on the service life of the networks in the house. Thus, in-house gas supply systems, the service life of which is up to 25 years, are serviced once every 5 years. If the service life is more than 25 years - once every 3 years. In accordance with the terms of maintenance, payment for services is also made. That is, payment for maintenance (after the first shut-off device on the gas pipeline-input to the first shut-off device in the consumer's premises) will be made once every 3 or 5 years.
Maintenance of intra-building gas pipelines of common ownership in apartment buildings is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Housing and Communal Services", Order of the Ministry of Energy dated September 29, 2023 No. 292, and Resolution of the National Commission for Regulation in the Spheres of Economy and Municipal Services dated December 5, 2023 No. 229.
