
The Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is launching a new training project "Professional Development in the Field of Mental Health: Knowledge, Experience, Practice" within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "How Are You?" - an initiative of Olena Zelenska. As part of the project, leading world experts, scientists, and practitioners will share their experience and expertise with Ukrainian mental health specialists.
Topic of the first webinar: "Evidence-based methods of psychotherapy for PTSD"«
The event will take place online on March 27 at 8:00 PM.
Speaker – Gregory Mueller, Ph.D, psychologist, associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in evidence-based psychotherapeutic methods for treating PTSD.
In particular, the professor uses cognitive behavioral therapy with exposure methods to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders. He has significant clinical experience working with children and adults in a variety of medical settings, from outpatient care to inpatient wards.
