The meeting with this name took place at the Center for Resilience. Children and parents-educators, foster parents, guardians and caretakers of the Chuhuiv community were involved in the meeting.
The event was organized as part of the UNICEF project "Strengthening Alternative Care through Support for Better Care Reform in Kharkiv Region.".
Together with sexual health specialist Viktoria Kaspitka, parents discussed:
▪ how sexuality manifests itself during different periods of child development;
▪ how to establish a trusting relationship with a child so that he or she is not afraid to ask for help;
▪ how to teach a child to respect themselves, their boundaries, and to say “no” when something makes them uncomfortable;
▪ how to explain safety rules on the Internet and in real life;
▪ how to help a child accept their body and treat it with respect and care.
